Book cover

For this assignment we wereally tasked with creating a book cover for Finding Nemo. We had to design the front, the back, and the spine. For the typography aspect of the assignment we had to think about readability and hierarhy among other things to insure an all around successful design. For my cover I decided to take inspiration from the scene from the movie where Nemo is in the fish tank and has to swim through the ring of fire. Using a warm color scheme I tied the text and the image together while keeping readability. For the title and author I used a sand serif font and for the text on the back cover I used a serif font. As a way to break up the images on the front and back I made the spine a different color.
